Press Brake Set-Up/Operator

Job Summary:

Consolidated Sterilizer Systems is a long-standing leader in the manufacturing of laboratory steam sterilizers (autoclaves) for the best universities, biotech, and pharma companies around the world.  We are seeking a full-time Press Brake Operator who will perform the following duties.

Duties

• Ability to set-up and operate CNC press brake (Amada HG1303).
• Select, load and install correct tooling.
• Perform quality inspections of parts produced.
• Ability to work from production schedule, verbal and written instruction, bills of material and blueprints.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
• Act responsibly and follow safe operating practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years set-up and operating experience.
• Previous metal fabrication background.
• Experience in the proper use of overhead cranes.
• Experience in the use of ERP system.
• Capable of using calipers, micrometers and other measuring tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Effective communication skills to discuss and understand work procedures, training and general directions.
• Maintain excellent attendance record.
• Flexible to perform overtime duties and adjust schedule when required.
• Able to work within a team environment.
